Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz each)
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. - Prepare Bottom Layer:
Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it evenly into the bottom of the dish, pinching seams together. - Make Cream Cheese Filling:
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, ¾ cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy. Spread evenly over crescent dough. - Add Top Layer:
Unroll the second can of crescent dough and gently lay it over the cream cheese layer, pinching seams to seal. - Top with Cinnamon Sugar Butter:
Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Mix remaining ¼ cup sugar with cinnamon, then sprinkle over the buttered dough. - Bake:
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden brown and slightly crisp. - Cool & Serve:
Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or chilled.
